• With activation of the rheostat, the Stylus ATC system:
  • Accelerates to an optimal cutting speed.
  • Continually monitors bur load.
  • Senses the amount of torque delivered.
  • Automatically adjusts torque to maintain peak power.
  • Limits speed when the bur is not under load to minimize wear on handpiece bearings.
